Katie was born and raised in the Ithaca area. She received her bachelor's degree in sociology from SUNY Cortland and her master's degree in social work from Nazareth College in Rochester. Katie resides in Dryden with her husband and her 3 children. She has experience working with children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. Katie currently has her Certificate in School Social Work and is employed through OCM BOCES providing school social work services to youth ages 5-21. She also works closely with parents and caregivers. She has worked with many clients to cope with anxiety, depression, peer conflict, and communication struggles.
