Megan Redmond

Megan grew up in the Finger Lakes and continues to enjoy living and raising her two boys in this area. She graduated with a Bachelors of Social Work from Nazareth College and received her Masters of Social Work from Binghamton University. Her work as a social worker has focused on supporting children and families in various capacities. She worked as a school social worker at Dryden Elementary School and as a Day Treatment Counselor at TST BOCES. Megan is also a parenting educator through Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County where she co-facilitates parenting classes. She currently works as a school social worker in Lansing School District and teaches graduate students as an adjunct instructor in the Nazareth College Social Work program. Megan’s approach to counseling is strength based and adapted to the individual. She provides a welcoming, non-judgmental, and objective space to explore opportunities for change, insight, and growth. Her goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable and supported while collaborating with you to develop solutions, coping skills, and strategies to enhance your life.
